FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO YOU DO PELVIC FLOOR PHYSIOTHERAPY?
Yes! I am very excited to now be able to offer pelvic floor assessment and treatment for a variety of conditions, including urinary incontinence, bladder dysfunction, pelvic floor weakness, and pelvic pain.

Not sure what pelvic physiotherapy is? I'm more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Feel free to reach out to me HERE and/or we can set up a free, 15-minute consultation over telephone or videoconference.
More information and resources regarding pelvic physiotherapy can also be found HERE.
DO YOU ACCEPT WCB ALBERTA CLAIMS?
WCB Claims are accepted on a case by case basis. Physiotherapy services for Worker's Compensation (WCB) patients must be approved in advance for our clinic rates as we are not a contracted WCB provider at this time and non-contracted authorizations must be in place to enable assessment and treatment.

You can search for contracted WCB physiotherapy providers HERE.
I WAS HURT IN A MOTOR VEHICLEÂ ACCIDENT, CAN YOU HELP ME?
Yes, I am accepting patient with MVA claims. If you have recently been injured in a motor vehicle accident or collision (MVA/MVC), the Alberta Government states that "you are entitled to accident benefits coverage regardless of whether you were at fault for the accident."

It is recommended that you see a primary health care practitioner (such as a physiotherapist, medical doctor, or chiropractor) as soon as you can following the accident. You can book directly for MVA Initial Assessments to allow us extra time for paperwork on the assessment date. If you have any questions about the process, please contact me and I'll be happy to help.
